Santa Barbara County firefighters rescued a man trapped in a van after a rollover vehicle collision on Highway 101 Sunday morning.

Fire crews responded to northbound lanes just south of the Gaviota rest stop at 6:40 a.m.

The single occupant, a male driver, required extrication from the vehicle and was transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for moderate injuries.
