On August 31, 2017, Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s detectives arrested 69-year-old Conrad Bruce Nickerson at his residence in the unincorporated area of Lompoc on child molestation charges. Nickerson is suspected of molesting two female juvenile victims over the course of several years. Nickerson was arrested without incident and booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail on two counts of 288.5(a) P.C. – Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child, with bail set at $200,000. Nickerson posted bail and was released from custody the same day.
The Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance to identify any additional victims associated with Nickerson.
