Is anyone else concerned about the Loma Alta burn area on the Westside? Tons of residents live below there and it could be really dangerous. No warning or concern?

Loma Alta itself has been closed for some time. Perhaps some mitigation measures have been put in place?
Nope, the road is closed so your vehicle won’t get pushed over the side and the K-rail barrier will send the mud gradually down the roadway… so no problemo.
The city won’t do anything about it until it’s too late just like every natural disaster that has happened, in Red Forman’s words, Dumbasses
Of course we are concerned, which is why we appreciate the City being proactive and closing the street and installing K-rail. If there is a major slide, the K-rail won’t be sufficient, but I don’t know that anything could mitigate a major slide. If I lived downhill from the burn area, I’d consider sleeping somewhere else tonight.
