Around 2:00 p.m. today [Tuesday] we received an alert from the Orfalea Children’s Center about a lockdown. This is near Cottage Hospital in the 2200 block of Castillo Street in Santa Barbara.
As of 3:00 p.m. the lockdown has been lifted but the email said there was a “potential threat” in the neighborhood.
Does anyone know what was going on? As you can imagine, it’s a very scary email to get about our children’s daycare center to be locked down.
