Local Soccer Team Wins Division Championship at Copa Americana

By the Carpinteria Boys Soccer Club

The newly established Carpinteria Boys Soccer Club (ages 10-11) played in the “Copa Americana” Tournament in Riverside this past weekend.

The team went undefeated through the weekend, beating teams from all over Southern California, most notably the semi-final against San Diego with a score of 6-1 and won the Championship against Santa Clarita with a final score of 2-1.

We are very proud of what this Club Team has accomplished thus far and look forward to continue competing in the Coastal Soccer League in the coming months.
