  1. What’s wrong with protesting a possible sexual assaulter and possible perjurer from becoming a life-long justice in the highest court of our land? I mean, should we just ignore the allegations of these women and simply take his word for it? Isn’t getting to the bottom of the truth in a dispute EXACTLY what the law and investigations such as this are for?

  2. You “truly hope” I lose my job because I think a woman’s accusations of sexual assault should be heard and investigated if warranted (such as in this case)? Where do people like you even live in our town? Yuck!

  3. Siding with Bill worked for Hill…so at least you’ve got that goin’ for ya. And talk about drinking and actually killing a woman, that “Lion of the Senate Ted Kennedy sure was a pip. But let’s ignore those two examples that are being ignored. Ted the Pip.

  4. You’re a “woman” and you stand by Kavenaugh like this? You don’t question anything other than the woman who was allegedly sexually assaulted? Where’s your “proof” that she’s lying? And really…. “crucifying” poor Brett? He’ll do just fine no matter the outcome of this. Remember, HE wasn’t the one who was sexually assaulted.

  5. Calm down? Are you kidding if these people ever calmed down there might actually be a conversation. I wouldn’t waste your breath, to them he’s guilty even with no proof and you can’t change their minds. He’s going to be nominated so brace yourself for major protest coming soon.

  6. Kavanaugh has the burden to prove a negative, which is pretty much impossible given the vague allegations and lack of any corroboration. If there were only some evidence, some testimony that supports the allegation, then it would be different. As it is, there is pretty much nothing, even from the complainant’s best friend.

  7. And she wasn’t assaulted either. I don’t need to question anything other than her – it’s her burden. There is nothing he said that was questionable to me at all. What, you think just b/c I’m a woman I’m not capable of rational and logical thought, that I would just be overly emotional and believe no matter what making the man automatically guilty> Way to stereotype women. Sorry, don’t believe her at all. And it’s turning out that she isn’t believable and possibly a fraud.

  8. Job vetting? Um, the man was “vetted” SIX TIMES by FBI background checks. Look into what that entails. You have no say who they talk to – and they follow leads. And yet, only now suddenly this woman pops up when by her own admission, she was “worried about him” since 2012? ANd never spoke up even though he had a powerful position then? PLEASE. With 6 FBI background checks, no one will convince me what this woman says is true. Nope. Not a chance. Especially considering the FBI apparently was more supportive of democrats than conservatives like him.

  9. Remind me to never employ the services of these attorneys as they seem to have overlooked or disregarded the premise of facts first, opinions second.
While it is probable that Brett was a MTV and Breakfast Club inspired elitist spoiled brat party boy and equally probable that Ms. Ford was a creature of the 1980s what being partying at age fifteen, until there is someone who can declare a definitive yes or no, we are all just ranting from the future with no knowledge of the past.

  10. The man was background checked by the FBI 6 times – and those checks are pretty substantial and you have no idea who they will be contacting. And Dr. Ford claims in 2012 and forward she was worried about it and needed a 2nd front door – yet, during all 6 background checks – nada. Until, surprise, now. Use your head, it’s pretty obvious.

  11. These are not the type of lawyers you’d want representing you. If they don’t get the concept of innocent until proven guilty, and many other things that swirl around this issue (including the lack of credibility of the accuser as is coming out now) or can’t respect processes, then they probably are not the best picks to represent you. Glad to see it’s a small group. Maybe they are trying to get more business using these types of tactics rather than actually doing good work.

  12. Can we please clear this up once and for all? The concepts of “innocent until proven guilty” and “due process” apply only to a criminal trial and investigation. This is NOT a criminal trial, this is a process of character vetting and one whose precedent was set long ago and is required for an appointment to SCOTUS. Has absolutely nothing to do with anyone’s Constitutional rights. All information is fair game in this process, and the chips will fall where they may. There are no protections in vetting. Just ask the lawyers you mock.

  13. Also irrespective of any guilt or lying about the sexual assault event in question on either of their parts, his continued omissions about the true nature of his relationship with alcohol and explicit statements against democrats are *extremely* concerning

  14. This protest demonstration by attorneys who are supposed to uphold the law is completely wrong! Kavanaugh simply being accused of something is cause for these “officers of the court” to assume he is guilty. One sign says “No More Rapists on the SC” – really?

  15. I’m glad people are standing up against Kav. Even if he is innocent of Dr Ford’s charges, he’s clearly lying about small issues, which shows a lack of respect for law (he was under oath). Also, he acts like he’s entitled to this job just because he got this far. Nope. He is rude and ill tempered, which is not acceptable in a job interview, no matter how aggrieved he feels.

  16. Is there anyone who can explain WHY this is happening???……………………..Friday, October 05, 2018 The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 51% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-eight percent (48%) disapprove. ………..Disaster after disaster and his numbers keep going up, up, up. You’ve got to be kidding me!!!!
