Kern River trip provided great evening lenticular cloud formation from high upper levels winds, ie alien spaceships.

Nice photos! These clouds regularly form over Mount Shasta. For climbers they pose a lot of risk because the wind speeds approach 100mph. If the cloud drops below the summit it makes for instant whiteout conditions leading to a lot of disorientation.
Some people actually believe that when a lenticular forms on the summit, celestial beings from inside Shasta go into the cloud to be transported to other locations.
