On Saturday, December 1st, local law enforcement agencies conducted probation and parole compliance searches at 25 different locations in the Santa Maria area. The searches targeted gang members or affiliates and resulted in 9 arrests for probation and other violations.
The following agencies participated in the operation: Santa Maria PD, Santa Barbara County Probation, Santa Barbara County Sheriff, Lompoc PD, CHP, State Parole, and San Luis Obispo County Probation.
All of our partnering agencies remain committed to making Santa Maria and its neighboring cities a safe place to live.
