Large North County Power Outage?

A Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) outage affected 18,000 customers in Santa Maria and 6,800 farther north on Saturday. Apparently it was a downed tree on power lines.

There was a large blackout on the Central Coast this Saturday that affected Santa Maria, Nipomo, Grover Beach and Pismo. What happened? It was from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
