An $8 million lawsuit against notorious landlord Dario Pini will continue in response to his thousands of building code violations, reports The Independent.
Pini faces another lawsuit from the City of Santa Barbara that aims to place 13 of his rental properties in a court-ordered receivership as well as a restraining order preventing property investors from transferring their interests before the case is resolved. Any proceeds from the result of the case are reported to be used to fix code violations on Pini’s properties before distributing funds to lenders.
