Renowned speakers and performers from around the world will be presenting at TEDxLagunaBlancaSchool for their annual event this Wednesday.
This year’s theme is “Metamorphosis” which embodies growth and transformation encouraging attendees to see our world anew: by noticing unique patterns and providing space for constant evolution for the better.
“Much like the butterfly’s stages of adaptation, we can all transform how we view ourselves and the world around us. We encourage our guests, speakers, and team members to accept ideas and challenges that may be uncomfortable, as the benefit of progression and self-realization is exponential,” the event program states.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
What’s unique about this specific TEDx event is it’s 100% created and organized by local students at Laguna Blanca School.
Some of this year’s speakers include Dino Ambrosi, Hannah Jenner, Vivian Storm, Joshua Weitzman, and more.
The event will take place from 9:00-3:00 at 4125 Paloma Dr, Santa Barbara, CA 93110 in the Merovick gym.
