Injured Hiker Near Lizard’s Mouth

Santa Barbara County firefighters and Search & Rescue team responded to a report of an injured hiker on Sunday evening.

At 7:50 p.m., crews searched the area off Camino Cielo Road in the Los Padres National Forest and located the victim with a lower extremity injury. They discovered the hiker had fallen 20 feet off a cliff.

Crews were able to safely extract the victim.
