The City of Santa Barbara is soliciting commercial cannabis business license applications for Indoor Cultivation, Manufacturing, Distribution, Testing, and Retail-Delivery Only as defined by Chapter 9.44 of the Santa Barbara Municipal Code – https://www.SantaBarbaraCA.
The formal solicitation opened on Monday, November 19th and will close on January 31st. Applications will only be accepted through PlanetBids, the City’s online portal. To apply for a Commercial Cannabis Business license, interested parties must first register with PlanetBids (https://www.SantaBarbaraCA.

I was told that the Derf’s at Mission & de la Vina and the old video store behind it were going to be a Pot Shop. ANYONE who has driven that intersection knows that adding a lot of left-turning eastward-traveling people on Mission to the usual mix of anxious rushing traffic will be a potential nightmare.
