Has anyone noticed there seems to be more air traffic [on Friday]? We have seen numerous helicopters and private jets as well as military planes. If anyone knows anything, I would love to hear it. Thanks Edhat

The noise abatement procedure isn’t a rule but rather a recommendation based on wind/weather conditions, etc. …. https://www.flysba.santabarbaraca.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/64/636842736903570000
Southwest is new to the area and so are their pilots. The noise complaints will die down soon as they get more comfortable with the noise sensitive areas east of the airport, which have been no doubt shared with them all. The More Mesa noise abatement path is a little close to the main runway for non local pilots, but after a few approaches they will get the hang of it and I suspect the complaints will slow.
