It seems as if there is a sharp increase in the number of road projects under way. How are these being funded? The infrastructure bill? Gas taxes? State income and other taxes?

California Senate Bill 1 (SB1) passed in 2017 allocates $5 billion annually for road repairs and upgrades.
And yes, your 51 cents per gallon in gas taxes also goes towards road maintenance and repairs.
Don’t they teach Civics in schools anymore?

Why would you be against something that advocates for the better good of all people?
Civics was tossed for “core” philosophy, and indoctrination.
Kids have no idea what is wrong or right when it comes to their civic duty.
Why would you look forward to that?’
