SBPD on scene investigating..
Victim wants to press charges.
That reminds me of one of the guys who used to run the shelter he always blamed the problems in the neighborhood on us even though there was over 600 calls for service at the shelter each month. Before the shelter opened in our neighborhood it was the kid of place you could sit on your porch have a beer and not worry about a cop pulling up to ask if you live there. In face back then you were not bothered walking down the street with a beer..Not that I drink anymore but I did then…This was at McDonalds 1213 State street…So I guess the Homeless problem is left for the taxpayers to solve huh? Everyone shovels the problems down to the taxpayers who pay their wages funny.
The police respond to homeless assaults or other cases of broken laws. The “they aren’t a police problem to solve” is in response to thinking the police should get them into shelters. They aren’t in the business of providing social services.
