Holidays in a Small Town

By David Powdrell

I’ve discovered that among the many benefits of living in a small town like Carpinteria, California is that when the holidays roll around, the entire community comes out to celebrate, dance, embrace our diversities and traditions and laugh hard together.

We designate our short main street as our haven and stroll, dance and rejoice together.

Sure, there are many wonderful towns and cities in the world, but I wouldn’t pick anywhere else to live.
