While this is horrible and drivers should always stop after accidents. The number of cyclists who want all the rights of riding on the road mixed with cars, but none of the rules is outright horrible. It’s not just kids, it’s mostly fully decked out 3k bikes with the full outfit who blast through red lights, left on red, hold a hand up as they go zipping through a stop sign.
I’m all for cycling but we now have tons of bike lanes relatively everywhere. Follow the rules and take some responsibility.
Tell the bicyclists to stop riding RIGHT on the line….they need to keep to the far right…. closer to the curb….. I DO NOT want to run you down, and do not want to swerve away , and get hit by the car next to me. The rules for bicyclists need to be enforced…..
What part of SLOW DOWN do you not understand D8vanilla!? If you can’t pass safely you will just need to follow and lose that precious 20 seconds. That is a state law – 3 feet space.
NILLA… what line are you talking about? The one designating a bike lane or the fog line? ‘Coz I’m sure you’ve noticed there are only about 6 inches of pavement between the fog line and the curb and it’s littered with debris.
