Highway 166 Brush Fire Stopped at 130 Acres

Firefighters stopped the forward progress of brush fire off Highway 166 at 130 acres.

Santa Barbara County Fire crews responded to the area just west of Highway 166 and Highway 33 with CalFire, Los Padres Forest Service, and air support.

The grass fire was initially believed to be between 20 and 25 acres. Crews along with air support were able to stop the forward progess at 130 acres.

There were no structures threatened and the cause is under investigation.
