Oak Man, you need to take a drive to Ventura and back to experience the exciting car and truck shute that the inventive geniuses at CalTrans have provided for us. I know they work at night under intense lights, occasionally, but this work seems like it should be worth a round-the-clock approach to complete. It’s a thrill a minute on stimulating, never boring US 101!!!
Nobody is saying why this is being done so I will take a guess: are they planning on doing work on the left lane area at night and don’t want to put up cones every night so they are doing this instead?
