Edhat StaffHelen J. Layland, 93, of Santa Barbara, died April 7, 2017, of cancer. Warren S. Layland, 95, of Santa Barbara, died May 7, 2017, of pneumonia.
Warren and Helen were married in Dayton in January 1945 and were inseparable for the next 72 years. Warren, Helen and their daughter Sandra moved to Santa Barbara in 1954. Warren was the service manager for NCR, retiring in 1986 after 41 years of service.
