  1. To think the liberal lobbyists are only out to do good by the people and not the corporations that pay them to influence politicians to legislate for the benefit of the corporations bottom line. EdHat, seriously off base here.

  2. The great thing about cartoons is we can all interpret it differently and have different reactions. I interpret this as a commentary on the recent Supreme Court decision where the GOP is using the Bible and elements of religion to further their agenda and these so-called spiritual leaders are all on board, regardless of how it affects other’s rights and freedoms. I chuckled because the true essence of this religion isn’t what is being taught by these leaders and GOP’ers and the heavens aren’t too pleased.
And you have your interpretation. To call it off base is an infringement on this cartoonist and publication’s freedom of speech, no?

  3. Interesting take on GOP lobbyists. Fortunately, there are far more (D) lobbyists who donate far more $$$ to just, fair, and equitable causes. It’s a filthy game, but someone needs to play it. LOL!!!

  4. Liberal politicians are all talk and don’t actually legislate for the people when they have the power to do so, more and more are waking up to this fact everyday, particularly minorities. Both parties are wolves, Dems are wolves in sheeps clothing.

  5. Maybe C.B. can do a FUNNY cartoon on the 5,000 Pounds of Mexican made Meth that was taken into custody in San Diego this weekend… That would be a FUNNY OPEN BORDER cartoon!

  6. It would appear to me that the cartoonist fundamentally misunderstands what a lobbyist is, what a political party is, and what the Catholic Church is as well as the relationship between lobbyists and politicians.

  7. Lobbyist are self serving. Not public servants. Doing their job so to speak.
Politicians ejected to represent the best interests of their people are the true evil accepting bribes, self serving.
They forget they are public servants
Both are purposely, intentionally not serving the good of the people.

  8. VOR, it’s almost as if you live in a liberal-leaning place that cares about the rights of all people, not just those of white men. Why are you surprised? I’m glad to live in a community like this.

  9. VOICE – why do you insist, at every possible opportunity, to change the topic and ignore the subject at hand? This is about religion, not “identity politics.” Please make an effort to stop constantly changing the subject.

  10. “Identity politics IS religion to modern progressives.” – again, nothing to do with the cartoon here. You and COAST having a heck of time with being on-topic again.

  11. Oh and hey, gotta say I love the blanket disparagement of entire political group, especially coming from someone who’s eyes are never not wet over the treatment of his political group here…….. nothing like a crying hippo-crat.

  12. You condemning the blanket disparagement of an entire political group in the same sentence you call someone a hypocrite is the very definition of the word. Could not have provided a better example myself.

  13. VOICE at 10:25 – Hahah not even close bub. In what use of the English language do you see that? How do you even…….. never mind. Not getting into it with you. That’s honestly one of the most absurd statements I’ve ever read, even from you. Get some rest kiddo.
