Great video but the avg catch figures cited in the article and in the video is skewed by a few big bumper years in the 80’s. The trailing avg for the last 20 years (up to 2013) looks to be about 6m pounds. I’ll assume they use the same fuzzy math to come up with the 30m figure as well… Too bad they cant be honest with the figures. Not sure why they need to inflate them. Our fisheries are in trouble. I sure hope that Mother Nature bounces back, the stocks are in deep decline. Uni is our the saving grace. You can go to the best sushi restaurant anywhere in the world and you can get a taste of our coast. It really does taste like the water flowing through the channel.
