Why is it being taken down? Looks like it has been there since at least the 60’s. Is this for the expansion of the airline terminal? It would be a shame to have all that space used for aircraft and offices to be replaced by a car park.
Looks like the roof structure was created with wood bow-string trusses. Would be nice if they could be relocated/repurposed.
These hangars were built in 1929 and this particular one was sold, I was told to somebody who is going to resurrect it somewhere in Goleta.
