Did anyone hear 2 gunshots around 12:30am?
It woke me up I thought it was fireworks but the sound of ambulance and police car confirmed it was a shooting. I live by bonnett Park and I heard 2 gunshots.

Must have been the well-regulated militia doing late-night practice in the park. Hopefully their muskets aren’t too dirty today, we’ll need them to fight off the redcoats and natives.
That sound would actually be either kids with fireworks or gangbangers. Nice try though.
Without a scanner report, a police and EMT siren DOES NOT confirm that you heard a gunshot. If that is how you confirm what a noise was I assume you wouldn’t be able to tell gunshots from fireworks.
I didn’t hear anything at 12:30 a.m. this morning but I did get the pleasure of being woken up to an extremely loud fireworks show at around 4:15 this morning. I am in the West Downtown area near the freeway.
