Gun Shots on the Westside

Edhat readers reported hearing gun shots on the Westside of Santa Barbara early Monday morning. Read the reports below:

• Does anyone know what happened, I woke up to what I believe were gun shots, approx 4:05 am then again at 4:15 am. Anybody?
• Near Chino and Islay, sounded very close. Two gunshots after 4:00 a.m. Sounded like a shot gun, very distinct and booming. We had fireworks go off a few weeks back, but this sounded nothing like that.
• Just heard a gunshot on the west side at 4:07AM. Definitely not a car back firing or fireworks. Sounded powerful too, like a shotgun. Definitely something is up. 2 more shots fired. Somewhere on the west side. A smaller sounding shot and then another big shot. At 4:17AM.
• Gunshots.. westside… what is up?!
