In the shoreline of Santa Claus Lane today, appears to be a gray whale approximately 35 feet long. Get ready for a stinkbomb.

Sad for this big beautiful soul. Maybe some of the local Chumash population may say some prayers or have use of this in some way.
Using rotting already decaying meat, is not the best idea. Chumash or not. I wouldnt recommend it. Scientist will probably do a necropsy and maybe a museum will take the bones. If not its getting buried.
PSTARSR, Nobody is going to want the meat, that is just silly. This isn’t the 1700’s, But Bones or blubber , maybe something used for ceremony. If your not part of the local Chumash then just don’t speak for them. Let them decide. I have friends who are and I’m already trying to get ahold of them.
I thought it was illegal to mess with a marine animal carcass? Do they give exemptions to the Tsumas? I have never heard of this.
