Garage Fire on Robbins Street

This morning at 09:42 hours, the Santa Barbara City Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire at 1616 Robbins Street. The residence is located directly across the street from Harding School. Upon arrival, SB City Engine 71 reported a working fire in a detached garage to the rear of the residence.

Firefighters made an immediate and aggressive attack just as the fire was rapidly developing.  

Crews on scene were able to quickly extinguish the fire with no damage to surrounding structures.

Four engine companies, one truck company and one battalion chief responded to the fire. 

There were no injuries.

The fire cause was accidental in nature.

Structure fire in the 1600 Block of Robbins Street. SB City Fire department has issued a full fire response.
