From the Top of a Tree to a Happy Home

By SB Humane

Meet Palm, a one-year-old stray kitty who was stuck in a tree on a recent rainy day.

The good folks of the Santa Maria Lost Dogs, Cats & Pets Facebook page noticed he was in distress and called Bob’s Tree Service in Santa Maria for help. Their team safely rescued Palm despite the downpour, and he was brought to Santa Barbara Humane for shelter and care.

Palm stayed true to his tree-hugging roots by branching out to explore the beautiful indoor cat jungle at the Santa Maria campus. Ten days later, he was adopted!

Check out this video of his rescue journey, all thanks to the collaboration and commitment of Good Samaritans in Santa Maria.
