Five people sustained injuries after their vehicle rolled over in the Santa Maria Valley on Friday evening.

At 7:53 p.m., Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to the 700 block Tepusquet Road, east of Santa Maria and near the Highway 166 interchange.

Crews discovered a white sedan carrying six people had crashed and rolled off the roadway, landing on the vehicle’s roof.

Five passengers were transported to Marian Regional Medical Center by ground ambulances. The sixth passenger refused treatment and transport.

All patients sustained non-life threatening injuries, reports Captain Scott Safechuck.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
