On 04/22/18 at approximately 0230 hours Santa Maria Police were detailed to a possible kidnapping investigation at Main Street and Bonita. SMPD Officers arrived and found that Guadalupe Police Department had detained five suspects pursuant to a 911 call, and it was discovered the crime had occurred in the City of Santa Maria. SMPD Detectives responded to conduct an investigation and they discovered the following:
Two confidential victims were at a local nightclub/establishment when they were approached by five (5) male subjects. The males asked the victims to go somewhere with them, however the victims declined. The males grabbed the victims and forced them into a nearby vehicle. The males then fled with the victims.
Fortunately, a nearby witness observed the incident at the nightclub and he called 911. Additionally, one of the victims managed to escape from the suspects while on Main Street and Bonita. The victim also managed to call 911.
All five suspects were arrested and booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail for 209(b)(1)PC – Kidnapping with the Intent to Commit Rape.
These are some real bad guys. Kidnap, and all of the other potential violent crimes that would have come from this. lets all be very thankful that they are all in jail and will be for a long time. Kidnapping and illegal imprisonment probably carries some big mandatory sentences. Too bad we don’t have public stockades anymore. I wouldn’t mind throwing some items at them for a few hours.
Apparently, any mention of the multi-million dollar I.C.E. detention facility and associating it with this article is just too much for the senses of the politically correct society we live in today… So much for free speech.
