The first new moon of 2021 made its debut on January 13. I found its crescent waxing on a balmy evening three nights later. How lucky we in Santa Barbara are to gaze at it with temperatures in the 60s! This particular new moon is in the sign of Capricorn. If you are into astrology it may give you pause as it’s connected to Pluto, a planet that’s all about intensity.
