Firearms and Narcotics Arrest in Santa Maria

On 6/26/20 at approximately 2000 hours, members of the Santa Maria Police Department Special Enforcement Team (SET) conducted a narcotic investigation at a motel in the 1600 block of S. Broadway. 

Jesus Tobias, 41 years old, is a convicted felon and was found to be in unlawful possession of methamphetamine, a stolen AR 15 rifle, 159 rounds of .223 ammunition, a high capacity rifle magazine and a methamphetamine smoking pipe. The AR 15 rifle was previously reported stolen out of San Luis Obispo County. 

Tobias is a resident of Santa Maria and was booked into SBCO Jail.
