Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co is starting the award season with a bang as the recipient of 14 medals from three prestigious beer competitions including the 2018 World Beer Cup, the 18th annual LA Beer Competition and the 2018 San Diego International Beer Festival. Esteemed panels of judges at each competition used blind-tasting methods to award medals to the best beers from around the world, while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. Overall, Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co. was awarded 7 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 3 bronze medals.
“We are so proud of our brewers and what they accomplished this year,” said Figueroa Mountain Founder and CEO Jaime Dietenhofer. “At Figueroa Mountain, we don’t create beers for the simple goal of increasing the breadth of our line. If we can’t do it really well, we’re not going to introduce a beer. These honors underscore our brewers’ dedication to heritage, style and flavor.”

With medals awarded to lagers, it’s appropriate that on May 19, Figueroa Mountain’s Buellton headquarters will host the first annual Lagerville (limited tickets remaining) an event that brings together independent brewers and craft beer fans celebrate historical and approachable lager beer style.
