Fight at the Mission Rose Garden

By an edhat reader

Just at sunset last night (8.25) there was a fistfight at the Rose Garden. I am unsure of how it started, but it appeared that one man was the agitator and attacking a group that was sitting on the lawn. Bystanders called the police and jumped to action. It appeared the man tried to steal something, lots of punches were thrown. He was taken down by two men and held down until police came.

Was anyone else a witness to this?

  1. Welcome to a world of no consequences for “minor” offenses.
And a world where we have free range homeless & transients looking for opportunities like seagulls at the beach waiting to snag anything you have.

  2. GOLETA LOCAL – surprise surprise, once again with your presumptions. Read LRG’s comment, it was NOT a transient, therefore SBGETSALONG hit no nail on any head.
