Does anyonek now if the fence around the Cabrillo ball park is staying up?
I used to take my little kids there to play and practice but now it’s all gated.

Still waiting for Randy Rowse to clean up the parks as promised in his campaign. Instead he’s hobnobbing at martini dinners with the local GOP who support protesting locally owned business hosting a drag show story hour. Priorities…..
Went by just the other day to go hit a few infield balls with my kid and sure enough, that fence isn’t going anywhere. Thought I could get a little something for my taxpayer dollars but nope. Cmon City of SB Parks and Rec, what’s the deal?
No idea about Murphy, another great community resource that’s mostly wasted for this generation of kids.
They did lock up the ocean during covid remember…. cuz Science™! It still amazes me there have been zero repercussions for those that chose a course of action – closing parks, beaches, trails, etc. – that was the EXACT OPPOSITE of what should have been done. Fresh air, exercise, and sunshine/vitamin D – NO! Not safe! – we’re going to force you indoors with your entire family (extended in many cases) where you won’t exercise and there’s no fresh air or sunlight cuz the Science™ said so. They literally made tyrannical level decisions that led to worse health outcomes and they all still have a job. Crazy.
This is about baseball, not covid. Try to control yourself.
Definitely pretexts- For a variety of unstated target outcomes.
