The Federal Bureau of Investigations(FBI) based in Los Angeles is searching for a suspect involved in a bank robbery in Santa Maria on Friday.
The Santa Maria Police Department reportedly received an alarm call at 4:46 p.m. at Community Bank of Santa Maria on 1421 S. Broadway.
A masked suspect reportedly robbed the bank at gunpoint and fled the scene. Employees rang the alarm and locked themselves inside the bank before police arrived.
The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male in his mid-30s to early 40s.
The FBI released photos showing the suspect wearing jeans, a gray long sleeve shirt, a purple bandana, and black beanie. He appears to be waiting in line holding a small bag before walking up to a teller.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the FBI or Santa Maria Police Department.
What does the logo on the shirt say…?
My first thought was, that the clerks should have called the Police when they saw him in line… He looked very very suspicious . but nowadays, everyone looks like that …. !!!!
They definitely need better cameras, or clean the lens off the existing cameras ….
It says, “My son was Inmate of the Month at the Lompoc FCI.”
Woody Guthrie: “Some will rob you with a 6 gun and some with a fountain pen” I’ve experienced both, the 6 gun was a lot more nerve wracking. Glad everyone’s ok
Must be a would-be bank robber who voted the down arrow. LOL!
…or maybe the actual robber.
The burglar waited in line before robbing the place? Probably new the big dude ahead of him would beat his a$$ for cutting in line. Hilarious.
Could be a female ?
My first thought was “mom jeans”.
Coast – looks like an elephant maybe. Cross reference all elephant logos, stat! I want your report on my desk by morning! Chop chop detective or I’ll have your badge!
Haven’t heard anything about exploding red dye packs in recent memory. Why not?
