Fatal Motorcycle Collision in Santa Maria

Case# SMPD21-0006866

On 5/30/21 at approximately 0801 hours, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Mc Coy Ln and College Ave in response to a single motorcycle traffic collision.

Upon arrival, officers located a downed motorcycle and a rider who was pronounced dead at the scene.  The rider/victim is identified as a Hispanic male adult.  His identity is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
