A “listening workshop” really? That’s ridiculous. When did a community forum become a listening workshop? The City Government didn’t listen before, are they actually going to now?
What about using Earl Warren Showgrounds? The Farmers Mkt can pay them rent, plenty of parking, easy access and maybe they could incorporate other events like craft fairs etc.
