Fallen Tree Sparks Small Fire in Montecito

Montecito Firefighters responded to a fallen tree on Sheffield Drive at N. Jameson Thursday morning.

Just after 10:00 a.m., firefighters responded to the 100 block of Sheffield Drive where a large eucalyptus tree fell into power lines.

Crews put out a small fire near the downed tree and wires.

Traffic is restricted in the area.

  1. This fire may not have been caused by a homeless encampment but the reality is that most roadside fires have been. So I guess I don’t get the point of your sarcasm.
