ROAD CLOSURE FOLLOWING DOWNED TREE & GAS LINE BREAK: Channel Drive is closed from Fairway Road to the Santa Barbara Cemetery. At about 10:40 a.m. Wednesday, Montecito firefighters responded to reports of a downed tree on the 900 block of Channel Drive.
A large eucalyptus tree fell into a building and damaged a gas line. The Gas Company is on scene assessing the damage. Please avoid the area.

Broken gas line at 901 Channel Drive (SB Cemetery) happening now.
Large branch from a Eucaplytpus tree fell and broke the line. Might have crashed into a building on the property.
