The onramp to the SB 101 at Fairview is closed until 2/3. Traffic is a nightmare on overpass. No statement from City of Goleta or Cal Trans that I know of.

4 lanes merging to 2 lanes under a bridge? There must have been someone who said “let’s go with that plan.” And NO ONE argued??????
My lay opinion suspicion is that the commentators have no expert knowledge of whether or not it is better to deposit the freeway mud on the side of the road or on the beach. Opinions seem simply to ooze out and most are critical of any action taken by the people who actually have to deal with this (or any) mess. Please show bit of understanding and respect.
