I was wondering the same thing. No one in my family got any text alerts this time around.
We received emails but no texts or calls. We’re on Alta Mesa. The last evacuation we received calls, texts, phone alerts, and emails.
I received one text from County ReadySBC on 2/24. No texts from them since then.
I received many emails about the rain and evacuations from the City of Goleta and City of Santa Barbara, as well as from County Supervisors Williams, Capps, and Hartmann. Most of these emails referenced County Emergency Management alerts, but I did not receive alerts directly from the County ReadySBC.
I agree: yet another failure by County Emergency Management.
Ditto. Another breakdown of the system we paid for.
