Edhat Readers Celebrate at Cebada Wine

Edhat fans and readers gathered downtown last week for a celebration of the county’s top March Edness photo hunters.

On Thursday we took over Cebada Wine on De La Guerra Street for a musical feast of epic proportions. There was live music, a ton of food, tasty wine varietals, edhat swag, and a lot of edhat favorites mingling.

We celebrated our 2018 winners for our annual March Edness photo hunt challenge. Congratulations again to our 1st place winner Camster, 2nd place winner Penelope805, and 3rd place winner Mfitch54. We also honored our 2017 winners: Holazola for 1st place, Penelope805 for 2nd place, and the 3rd place tied winners Rone, Britt, and Mfitch54.

1st Place Winner Camster
3rd Place Winner Mfitch54
2017 First Place Winner Holazola

A bevy of delicious food was provided by Creekside Bar and Grill, Santa Barbara Catering Company, Renaud’s, and Mesa Salsa Company. Everything from tri-tip sliders, mac n’ cheese, every type of cheese and fruit imaginable, tasty cookies, and fresh organic salsa.

March Edness prizes were provided by Windrun Wine, Paddle Sports Center, local author and historian Betsy J. Green, and merchandise courtesy of Ed.

We had all our favorite t-shirts available, as well as a few new items. We introduced our new edhat snapback hat and a limited edition Roger the Scanner Guy t-shirt, made with the help of ooshirts.com. All of our merchandise is available in the edhat store.

Conner Cherland performed some classic cover songs as well as his own original songs. Learn more about the local musician at connercherland.com and check him out this weekend at the Earth Day festival.

Thanks to all our readers and fans for coming out for a fun night of revelry. We appreciate the support and dedication. The owner of Cebada Wine has also extended a special offer to all edhat readers. If you mention “Edhat” you’ll receive 10% off all tastings and wine purchases. Visit Flora the dog at Cebada Wine on 8 E. De La Guerra Street to take advantage of this deal!
