At 4:00 a.m. on New Years Day, a car traveling North on 154 cleared the top and took out the guard rails all the way down to the creek before the John Deer Ranch. Crumpled the car, but the driver crawled away. Highway Patrol, Tow Trucks, etc., were on hand.

Heading from SB to Cachuma, just after you crest the summit, the road curves to the left, and then, just as it starts curving to the right again, Deer Lodge is on your right. About the only things you see are the mailbox and a flagpole.
