Dolphin Fest

By John Wiley

Flying our coast we saw this very unusual dolphin fest. They were swimming really fast and making hairpin turns, apparently dining on fish that don’t show in the pix and the vid I’ve sent Ed. Some would swim upside down, presumably watching the fish. Others would swim right side up, possibly watching the diving pelicans. The instant the pelicans hit the water the dolphins would turn on a dime and race toward them, probably catching distracted fish. It was fascinating to watch. We also saw this hint of moss returning to Tangerine Falls that was devastated by the fire and debris flow, and now looks very different.
