Dog of the Week: Havi

Available for Adoption Soon – ‘Havi’

‘Havi’, short for ‘Xavier the Havapoo’ is a two year old, male, Havanese/Poodle mix (best guess). Havi only just arrived at the rescue two days ago, and is already looking and feeling much better after a much needed grooming. Havi is a very sweet and shy boy who based on his condition had received minimal care in the past. He currently weighs 9 pounds, but is extremely underweight and should weigh closer to 13 pounds. Havi is now eating well and recovering from his neuter surgery, and will be at the Petco adoption event on Saturday if he seems up for it.

At this point we think Havi would be best suited to a quieter, adult household, but will know more as he recovers/decompresses from a rough stay at the shelter where he was completely terrified and shutdown, and not eating.

If you are interested in adding this beautiful boy to your family please submit an adoption application found on our website at: www.sparkrescue.org

  1. It makes me happy that we live in a time when animal compassion and care is becoming more and more popular. Good luck to you, dear dog. I hope you find your forever home.
