Detectives Investigate Lompoc Homicide

Location : 1300 block North L
Street Crime/Offense : 187 PC – Homicide  

On Saturday 8/19/23 at approximately 10:30 PM, Lompoc Police Department responded to the 1300 block of North L Street regarding a subject who had been shot.

First Officers on scene found 34-year-old Jonathan-David Clark with gunshot wounds and immediately began providing life saving measures until Fire Department and Paramedics arrived but he was ultimately declared deceased at the scene.

Lompoc Police Department Detectives, with assistance from the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Crime Lab, responded to the scene and took over the investigation.

A single individual was scene fleeing the area and anyone with surveillance video in the area or with information about the shooting, is asked to contact the Lompoc Police Department.
