My gosh, we have some sharp eyed photo analysts here. Let’s wait until someone can eyeball it up close.
Rob doesn’t take pics, he poses for them fearlessly battling wildfires with a garden hose in a mandatory evacuation area whilst the hired help whips up some delish spaghetti . It’s all yours R..& R….
Too funny. When I first saw this same photo couple days ago I thought, “Hmm. Isn’t that a Grizzly bear?” It didn’t really register, though, and I thought this poor bear had been caught in the flood. I love all the comments here. Do people around here actually have large taxidermied trophy kills? I thought that was only for the yahoos in Wyoming and Idaho, etc.
That thing could have floated in from anywhere. Zoo?
Oh no there’s a bear on my beach!!! NOOOOOOOOOOPE, Chuck Testa.
Its a black bear by the rounded snout. Grizzlys have very pronounced blunt snout and block head. Most likely taxi, its odd position certainly a modification by flood. After fires, unlikey anything like that in the flood plain if it existed at all on the front side.
How will they know for sure if it’s a real bear or a stuffed bear? Can anyone tell if it’s a grizzly or black bear?
First priority: R I P bear.
FWIW, a mounted bear would have most likely have its mouth open in a snarl.
Look like he was taking a dump when he died.
