By the City of Santa Barbara

The City of Santa Barbara Parks and Recreation Department has announced the return of Concerts in the Park. The free, family-friendly summer tradition has brought large crowds and a range of musical entertainment to Chase Palm Park since its inception in 2000.

Concerts will take place at the Great Meadow in Chase Palm Park every Thursday in July from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The community is invited to bring blankets, chairs, picnics, family, and friends to enjoy an evening of free music along Cabrillo Boulevard.

The full 2023 Concerts in the Park lineup is as follows:

Thursday, July 6
Paradise Kings
Rock, Blues, and Swing
Thursday, July 13
The Molly Ringwald Project
80s Dance Hits
Thursday, July 20
Captain Cardiac and the Coronaries
50s and 60s Rock n’ Roll
Thursday, July 27

Bands were selected through an online application process, which received over 40 submissions. Applications to perform during the 2024 concert series will open in November.

This event series is held in partnership with the PARC Foundation.
